The house was perfect. It is beautifully decorated, great location and very thought out details. There were beach chairs, beach towels, pool towels and beach toys. The kitchen was fully stocked. Martin met us at the house to show us a few of the amenities which was very helpful. The beds were very comfortable! We would love to return in the future with more time to relax since we were there for a family members wedding festivities. The area is fantastic.

Martin was a delightful host. Very responsive to our needs. The house was well stocked in the kitchen with top of the line pots, pans, cups, glasses and silverware. The house has so much gathering space. We used it all. Evenings by the pool and hot tub. Later played pool and cards. Love the arcade games. The ice maker was very handy. The walk to town only took 10 mins. We will rent again. Love it!

The house was fantastic. We had eight adults and five children during our week and never felt crowded. The space is ample. Martin’s attention to detail throughout the house was great – sample silverware and kitchen, furnishings, plenty of towels and bedding, games, galore for the kids, wonderful multi person swing on the second floor porch, and plenty of gear at the great swimming pool. Who sings a particular note mentioning. First, the artwork throughout the house, apparently they’re out of Martin’s wife, who is beautiful, and adds to the ambience of the house. Second, every bed in the house, including the bunk room, and the most comfortable mattresses, and everyone, to a person, enjoy a great nights sleep. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a large space for larger gatherings. i’m not forgetCampo Martin was an extremely responsive post and responding to inquiries our insurance. Of time. The whole thing was a great family vacation for us.

Martin has set the bar high. His vacation rental is by far the nicest we have ever stayed in. This spectacular home is so well stocked you literally just need to bring your clothes! There is an abundance of towels available, the kitchen is filled with every utensil you could ever possibly want, incredible pots and pans, silverware and dishes for at least 30! The dining table accommodated our family of 13 very comfortably. The bedrooms are all beautifully appointed, and each bedroom has a beautiful bathroom, plus 3 half baths. one on each floor. There are pool toys, a great outdoor kitchen, and no shortage of entertainment: billiards, ping pong, foosball, corn hole, darts, arcade games, board games, televisions everywhere, and even a little putting area complete with a few golf clubs! By the way, having a covered pool is brilliant to avoid getting sunburned. Martin forget nothing in this amazing home - he included 12 beach chairs, several beach umbrellas, 2 coolers (and yes, ice packs in the freezer) and he even provided several umbrellas in the garage in case of rain.The house is just a few steps to the beach where we had a great afternoon watching dolphins feeding and swimming in pods.We rented bicycles and a golf car to get around SSI. Thank you Martin for adding to our memories of our annual summer family vacation week.

Cottage Christine is an absolute gem! My husband and I fell in love with SSI and decided to have our whole family join us for a week. It took a while to find the perfect house for our group and I’m so grateful we landed on this one. All the rooms are beautifully decorated with super comfy linens and all had their own bathroom. The kitchen is a dream and fully stocked. The game room provided hours of fun after the little ones went to sleep. The pool was incredible. We loved having beach chairs and towels easily available. Martin responded quickly to all of our questions and was such a pleasure to talk to each time. We loved this home and its views of the ocean from the porch. It is a special place and we will remember the time there forever!

Every two years our family takes a trip together. Grandparents choose a location & rent a large house. so that we can come together & enjoy each other. This year we had family from Chicago, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina & Mississippi. Cottage Christine’s was the perfect choice for all of us …ages varying from 81 years to great grandchildren 3 & 1. We were greeted by the owner, Martin, who took us on a detailed tour of his home which included parking, codes, elevator operation, pool, hot tub, game room, kitchen, bedrooms, & 9 bathrooms. The home is exquisitely decorated with everything you could possibly want in a home away from home. By far the nicest accommodation we have rented in recent years.

Where to start?? The home is new and just immaculate. It is extraordinarily well thought out in design and layout. Extremely comfortable with 5 master bedrooms and a kid bunk room. The bed and linens were excellent. The home was exceptionally well stocked, which stands out among all other Airbnbs that we have used throughout the years. Absolutely amazing home. We've never stayed in a home with so many amenities to keep you busy the entire time! Since the week we stayed was very hot, it was so nice having the covered pool. The attention to detail in every room was amazing. The covered porches with swings were a favorite as were the beach chairs! The beds were so comfy and the decor was beautiful. Martin was so accommodating and welcoming. We can not say enough good things about this home. The location was private, yet walkable to the shops and restaurants. We would absolutely recommend this property for anyone visiting St. Simon's Island, Georgia!

Our family had a wonderful vacation at Christine’s Cottage! Martin was the perfect host and we enjoyed meeting him. The house is absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed all the amenities. During a few rainstorms we stayed in the house and both adults and kids played pool, foosball, ping pong, the arcade machine and corn hole! The covered pool and hot tub was a favorite especially in the evenings. A highlight almost every day was watching the dolphins play just down a small walkway by the house to the waters edge. The house is located just a 10 minute walk to the Pier Village where we enjoyed lovely walks to the many restaurants, shops, playgrounds and lighthouse. Everything is located on the waterfront which made the area so very quaint. Martin was gracious enough to recommend where to eat and what beaches to go to. He was spot on with that information. I would highly traveling to St. Simon’s Island and staying at Martin’s beautiful home. Thank you Martin for everything!

We traveled to SSI from MD to celebrate Spring Break with our amazing group of friends. We ALL absolutely fell in love with both the island and this beautiful home! Martin and his wife thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The furnishings were gorgeous—plush couches, cozy beds, inviting porch swings, and soft linens. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the beach gear (chairs, thick soft towels, and umbrellas) was top-notch. The pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and the pool table and arcade room quickly became the favorite hangout spot for the teens in our group. The home is wonderfully spacious, offering privacy when needed and beautiful spaces to gather for coffee, conversation, or even a special Easter dinner in the stunning dining area. The house was everything you could want for a beach vacation! It was beautiful, perfectly clean and spacious. It had everything you needed including pool toys, plenty of beach/pool towels, beach sand toys, plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. Very short walk to the beach! Our elementary age kids were able to run back to the house for a quick bathroom break and to get snacks as often as they wanted. You are dependent on the tide schedule at that part of the island. During high tide the beach is not accessible. But during low tide it was perfect for playing in the sand and looking for all the hermit crabs (there were so many!). We shore fished as well and caught a few small sharks! It is a great house lay out for multiple families! Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes for lots of people as well as multiple dishwashers. Martin was absolutely a dream of a host. Any small hiccups we had, he was prompt and generous in making them right. It was a wonderful stay and we would love to come back one day!
